"SeaStar" comprises a large bedroom and large living room (both with cathedral ceilings), a bathroom, a dining room, and a small kitchen. The total area is about 1000 square feet. All rooms overlook the ocean. The bedroom has a queen size bed, and all furnishings are simple but tasteful. The bathroom has a bathtub/shower and 2 sinks. There is also a coldwater outdoor shower, and a convenient outdoor faucet for rinsing off sand. The kitchenette has an undercounter fridge, dishwasher, 4 burner cooktop, toaster oven and microwave oven. There is a full range of cutlery, crockery, pots, pans and small appliances. A complete gas cooker is also available for roasting. A freezer is available for those who bring a load of frozen foods. Bedlinens, towels, and all kitchenware are supplied, but guests should bring their own beach towels. There is a CD player in the living room, and we can supply a wide range of classical CDs. On request, a TV/VCR will be supplied but there is no TV reception. Videos can be rented locally.There is usually a breeze from the east through ample screened windows. If the breeze drops at night, close the windows to exclude sandflies. Airconditioning (for the bedroom only) is supplied after May 1. There is a ceiling fan in the living room. All floors are tiled in a pale honey colored tile handmade in Nassau, which feels great under bare feet. Additional beds for small children can be provided. The limestone front patio overlooks palm trees and the ocean. The house is set back slightly from the beach, and on a low rise. It is 280 feet from the ocean.
